“The Holiday Kitchen” is today’s topic as cookbook author and James Beard Award winner Marlene Sorosky Gray joins Joe and Bobbi in the studio. Joe and Bobbi get to know Marlene by finding out how she went from joining a gourmet club at her kids’ elementary school to starting a cooking school out of her home and eventually ended up working with renowned chefs, Julia Child and Jacques Pepin. Marlene then goes on to share some food gift ideas, her favorite new kitchen tools like the serrated peeler and a guide for hosting a flawless holiday party. She also gives us her list of part Do’s and Don’ts with tips such as Do freeze your candles to make them last longer and drip less but DON’T use a centerpiece that will blocks views.
