Way back in 2008, the government bailed out banks during the mortgage meltdown. While circumstances are not quite the same today, there are a few parallels that exist between the two. Low rates have been fueling this economy and the juice just keeps getting put on to keep things rolling. As a result, smaller banks are worried about repercussions as they are treated differently from big banks, many of which have already taken advantage of the program meant to support small businesses. The future is foggy for both consumers and banks, are they reacting the way consumers want them to?
